September's Worship
Jesus commitment level is is nothing less than absolute total. He holds nothing back from His Father, and he did it for our sake. Even though we had nothing to offer, he gave his all anyways. His love pours over us, as the church and the Holy Spirit invite us into the loving arms of the Father.
When we have become sons and daughters in his family he invites us into a journey. It is a journey that follows him into expressions of love that we could not even conceive of until we met his grace. The cost of being loved so deeply by Jesus ... Priceless! The joy of loving with the Spirit of Jesus ... Inexpressible! The cost of following Jesus into the depths of love that only he can take us to ... Everything!
And yet he graciously invites us to give up "Everything" to follow him, because he knows firsthand that our "Everything" cannot begin to compare with the joy of the love of Jesus flowing into us, around us, and through us. Join us this September as we hear Jesus gracious invitation to come into his arms. Then to be sent out with his love into our homes, into our friendships, and into a hurting and confused world with a love and a message that carries healing and comfort.
If you have not yet met the Good Shepherd (Jesus), this Sunday is as good of a time as any to meet him.
